Our kaleidoscopic rugs are beautifully made, one-off wonders!

Inspired by rhythmical growth patterns in nature, Claire's rugs are designed to suggest infinite pattern as the hexagonal shapes morph and mutate in colour. An ordered chaos that adds optical interest to your space!

Materials & Techniques

Our hand tufted rugs are made in Varanasi, India. They are handmade by inserting wool tufts through a canvas backing, then latex and a strengthening scrim is applied to the back to secure the pile. Claire loves to play with surface relief using both loop pile and cut pile techniques, lending them an interesting 3D-like effect with a lovely texture underfoot!

We are proud to support CARE & FAIR via our rug supplier Hill & Co Rugs. Care & Fair is an organisation based in India dedicated to the elimination of child labour in the rug industry and the education of children in weaving areas.

We also use sustainably sourced New Zealand Wool in our rugs, which is not only super durable but takes vibrant colours extremely well.

Ordering your bespoke rug

You can choose designs from our existing collections, but if you are struggling to find your perfect rug our bespoke service will give you the freedom to select your own unique colour palette and size to suit your space.

As all rugs are made to order, please contact us directly to commission a beautiful hand made piece. Lead times can vary slightly, but are usually around 12 weeks from date of invoice.

Please contact Claire who will be very happy to discuss any ideas and work on an individual quote for you.

Delivery

Delivery can be arranged by courier to arrive directly to your home or office, at no extra cost. We can specify the date of delivery, but not the time unfortunately. Please ensure someone is available to sign and collect.

Cancellation Policy

We are unable to change orders for bespoke items like our rugs, so any amendments must be advised within 48 hours of placing the order. The original order will then be cancelled and a new order will need to be placed.

COASTERS

Our melamine coasters come in an assorted pack of 4 to match our current Peggy Collection, in vibrant hues of pink, green and our signature grey.

The heat resistant coasters are made from full colour satin finish printed melamine with a hardboard base. The reverse side is covered with an attractive and durable cork backing.

Our melamine coasters are heat resistant to 145ºC as well as being scratch and stain resistant. So you don't have to worry about those pesky tea rings!

Coasters come packaged in our lovely cardboard kraft boxes, plastic free.

CUSHIONS

Our bold and vibrant cushions are designed to add drama to your home!

Inspired by how order and chaos coexist in the natural world to create visual harmony, our designs juxtapose symmetrical geometric shapes with the assymetrical morphing patterns that appear to change subtley as if looking through a kaleidoscope.

The durable 100% cotton coverings allow the colour to really pop and come in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit your space.

GIFT BUNDLE

For a LIMITED time only we are offering some scrumptious FESTIVE GIFT BUNDLES - perfect as a starter pack and introduction to our Peggy Collection! HOPE COLLECTION

This special limited edition collection takes its inspiration from rainbows, and hope in the storm.

Including brand new melamine coasters and 100% cotton cushions, we really hope the vibrancy and cheeriness of the colours bring a smile to your face :)

We are also using this collection to launch our first Carbon Positive Initiative. We are passionate about protecting the environment and being responsible in the production of our products.

Our first step is to not only offset the carbon we use to transit our products, but to go that extra mile to create an environmental benefit by investing in a range selected environmental projects.

PEGGY COLLECTION

Inspired by Claire's late grandmother Peggy, the collection reflects her love for the beautiful garden on her farm where she has so many happy childhood memories. In particular, the old pink hydrangeas Peggy grew along her pathway inspire the colour palette for this collection. They were dried and hung in her mum's kitchen, and Claire loved how delicate and brittle the petals were yet how vibrant the colours remained, merging from vibrant magenta to lime green. And a vibrant but gentle lady Peggy was too!

SCIENCE MUSEUM COLLECTION

This collection of bright exuberant prints was developed in partnership with The Science Museum London and textile collective Print Tuft & Fold, with access to their amazing pictorial archives. After much fun browsing Claire settled on chaotically beautiful images of Ascorbic Acid, Colloidal Silica and Formula One Racing Car Brake Lining as seen under a microscope... and tried to put a little order into the chaos!
